Electric Royalties Ltd informs investors of “exciting developments” in its royalty portfolio

Electric Royalties Ltd (TSX-V:ELEC, OTC:ELECF) said it had a terrific first half of 2022 with 24 exciting developments across 11 assets within its royalty portfolio.

In an asset update on its current royalty portfolio, company CEO Brendan Yurik highlighted the high-grade Millennium copper-cobalt project in Australia, where drilling is underway with assays expected later. This year.

Other achievements include receiving drill results from the Seymour Lake lithium project in Ontario, where a resource estimate is imminent, and advancing metallurgical development milestones at the Battery Hill manganese royalty, with operator Manganese X Energy Corp (TSX-V: MN, OTCQB: MNXXF) initiating a number of discussions with potential strategic partners looking for high purity manganese products.

Additionally, the company’s Authier lithium royalty operator, Sayona Mining Limited, raised more than $150 million last month and announced a pre-feasibility study integrating the project into a co-production scenario with the mine. of neighboring North American lithium.

Yurik noted that investors were rightly concerned about ongoing inflation costs, but as a royalty company, Electric Royalties was shielded from capital cost inflation.

“We are also largely protected against inflation in mine operating costs, other than processing and smelting charges for net smelter royalties,” he said.

“The value of our royalties is directly proportional to the price of the metals we target and prices have been rising steadily, with lithium alone increasing significantly over the past year.”
