ALIEN METALS LTD – CONTINUED HIGH-GRADE IRON ORE RESULTS RETURNED FROM PROJECT HANCOCK

Alien Metals Ltd (LSE AIM: UFO), a global mineral exploration and development company, is pleased to update the market on its Hancock high-grade iron ore project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Strong points

The company recently completed the excavation of a bulk sample weighing 2,378 kg of high-grade iron ore from the Ridge C resource.

A series of grabs taken from the bulk sample gave high quality results with an average content of 62.2% Fe in the samples and low levels of impurities

Sampling indicates high quality material starts less than 1m below surface

The samples represent a homogeneous bulk sample at the center of the Ridge C resource and provide further confirmation of the grade and quality of the deposit.

Bill BrodieGoodCEO and CTO of Alien Metals, commented: “We have continued to accelerate this excellent project and, alongside the recent third phase of the drilling program, we have taken the opportunity to dig an important bulk sample to advance the mining development side of the streams. job. The high nature of these results demonstrates the quality of the project and continues to give us great confidence in the planning and development process as we move forward. The team again delivered under difficult conditions and we have taken another important step in the development of the project. I look forward to updating the market on more news as we receive it.

As part of the mine development work carried out by the Company and in parallel with the 3rd phase of drilling, a bulk sample was taken from the central part of the C Ridge using an excavator. A sample pit approximately 7m long, 1.5m wide and a maximum depth of 2.5m was dug on the side of the drill pad for diamond hole AM21DD004. Having the sample from this location will also be linked to the results of the diamond hole, as well as the previous RC drilling to correlate all data.

After sampling, the pit was filled and rehabilitated in accordance with environmental practices. 9 ‘stacks’ were made from each subsequent level as the trench was dug to confirm that the correct material had been chosen for the bulk sample. Apart from the initial heap, which still returned 59.6% Fe but was found to be lower grade on site due to contamination of soil and surface materials, the remaining 8 heaps were combined to produce the bulk sample giving a good representative sample of the ore. These bulk samples are an essential part of development and mining studies as they will allow detailed metallurgical testing of the ore on a sufficient volume basis to assess various aspects that are considered in mining, such as the transportation and end-user processes to help optimize mining crushing and screening circuit design as an example.

As the Company is accelerating this program, this representative bulk sample of 2,378 kg was subjected to ALS Laboratory in Perthwith these early results from spot samples taken as part of the bulk sample preparation being assembled, adding confidence to the quality and quality of the material and the project as a whole.
